Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator to join APSX Machines on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be a semi-retired professional with a proven track record in inventory control within the USA. This hybrid position offers flexibility and exciting new technology solutions. Responsibilities: Identify and cultivate relationships with small machine shops and industrial parts institutions to purchase material and parts. Develop and execute effective purchasing strategies. Collaborate with the production team to enhance inventory visibility and react to potential part shortages on time. Requirements: Extensive experience in inventory control in industrial products such as industrial machinery, CNC, 3D Printers, Laser Machines or Injection Molding Machines within the USA. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and achieve goals. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment preferred. Comfortable working remotely and managing responsibilities efficiently.
