Employment Type: Full-Time | Hybrid 🚀 About the Opportunity The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. This role will manage the project from the State end, oversee project schedules and risks, and serve as the liaison between the Contractor project team, the State Business Enterprise (SBE) project team, and management. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the assigned project and associated work. Perform day-to-day project management activities, including issue and risk identification and recommend mitigation strategies. Act as a facilitator between the State agency and the awarded contractor. Ensure all work performed under the contract is within scope, meets requirements, and is delivered on time and on budget. Identify critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria. Provide solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain or improve performance levels. Monitor issues and provide resolutions for accurate and timely status reporting. Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline. Master’s degree or Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred. Experience Requirements General Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management. Specialized Experience: Minimum of five (5) years managing IT-related projects, with a demonstrated leadership role in at least three successful projects delivered on time and on budget. Preferred Skills Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
