Join one of the nation's most visited presidential museums as we create meaningful and memorable experience for guests around the world. As a Visitor Experience Manager, you will help shape the quality of every visitor interaction while supporting and developing the team that brings The Hermitage to life. What you will be doing: • Oversee daily Visitor Experience operations and ensure exceptional guest service. • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate Visitor Experience Guides; manage call outs and daily staffing needs. • Train staff on historical content, safety, logistics, collections security, and museum interpretation best practices. • Provide tours and programs as needed. • Support research, content development, and training materials; participate in the visitor experience content committee work. • Operate and train staff on audio/visual equipment. • Maintain tour materials, maps, translations, and brochures. • Weekend work and occasional evenings required. What you will need: • Bachelor's degree in history, Education, or related field. • At least two years of experience delivering educational or public programs in a museum or historic site. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to teach through varied modalities. • Ability to work effectively with visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Physical requirements: • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, stoop, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs. • Ability to move throughout the property and work outside in varying conditions. Schedule: This position requires regular weekend work and occasional evening work. Pay range: USD $45,000 - $50,000 Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K, and vacation/sick
