SAP Solution Architect E-Commerce | Remote (Canada) | 12-Month Contract Location: Remote (Anywhere in US or Canada) Work Hours: EST or PST (PST strongly preferred) Duration: 12 Months Client: Seattle-based Leading E-Commerce Company About the Role Our client, a top e-commerce and logistics innovator, is seeking a highly experienced SAP Solution Architect to design and optimize enterprise SAP solutions supporting large-scale supply chain, fulfillment, and financial operations. This role is ideal for an architect with deep S/4HANA expertise and hands-on experience integrating SAP with modern cloud and microservices environments. Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture • Define end-to-end SAP architecture aligned with high-volume e-commerce and logistics operations. • Design scalable SAP solutions covering Order Management, Inventory, Procurement, and Finance. Integration • Lead SAP integrations with microservices and cloud-native systems. • Partner with AWS engineering teams to optimize SAP workloads in the cloud. Implementation & Governance • Drive SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and modernization efforts. • Establish governance frameworks and ensure SAP best practices are followed. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Finance, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into SAP-ready solutions. • Ensure architecture compatibility with the client s technology ecosystem. Optimization & Performance • Identify automation and improvement opportunities across SAP processes. • Monitor performance and continuously enhance system scalability and efficiency. Required Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in SAP architecture and enterprise SAP implementations. • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and relevant modules: MM, SD, FI/CO, EWM. • Strong experience integrating SAP with cloud platforms (AWS preferred). • Solid understanding of high-volume retail, order processing, and fulfillment flows. • Certifications: SAP Certified Solution Architect (required); TOGAF or ITIL (preferred). Preferred Experience • Large-scale SAP deployments in e-commerce, retail, or logistics environments. • Experience with warehouse management, last-mile delivery, and fulfillment systems. • Background in API-based integrations and microservices architecture.
