Manage subcontractor projects including communication, document handling, field walks, budgeting, procurement, and installer support.
Basic math and language skills, valid CA driver's license, proficiency with technology, self-motivation, and basic hand tool knowledge.
Learn the tasks required to be a project manager for a thriving subcontractor. Starting tasks will depend on previous experience, as will starting compensation. Eventually tasks and responsibilities will include: • Communication with customers and vendors via phone & email • Document review, prep, and organization • Field (jobsite) walks and physical measure • Review, takeoff, and manage construction projects using plans and specifications • Budget creation and tracking for projects • Material procurement • Supporting & Managing installers in the field through completion of the project. Major qualifications include: • Proficiency with technology and Microsoft office programs • Self motivated and desire to excel in all tasks - Ready and willing to learn - "I will get it done" attitude. • Valid CA Driver's License and insurability (responsible record) • Basic to advanced math & language skills • Basic hand tool knowledge, especially reading tape measures and understanding fractions of inches UOM Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Ability to Commute: • Sacramento, CA 95826 (Required) Work Location: In person
