Year RoundJob Description JOB TITLE: Lift Maintenance Technician DIVISION: Mountain Operations REPORTS TO: Lift Maintenance Manager LOCATION: On Mountain CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/Year-Round/Hourly POSITION: The Lift Maintenance Technician ensures the safety and reliability of our lifts and conveyor by monitoring, maintaining, and repairing lift equipment in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, and standards. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Must be an experienced skier/snowboarder • 3 + years' of lift maintenance experien • Able to work at heights of 50+ft • Able to lift up to a 100lbs • Willing to work in extreme weather • Be able to stay on shift until work is completed • Must possess their own tool set including, but not limited to, multi-meter and hand tools to perform necessary work • Safety focused • Positive attitude • Able to climb lift towers • Competent to operate a variety of summer and winter company vehicles JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Daily routine maintenance and upkeep of lifts and surrounding support structures • Daily inspection checks • Documentation of daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance logs • Climbing lift towers and terminal buildings • Long term maintenance and rebuilding of components • Basic electrical system trouble shooting • Actively involved in lift emergency procedures and time dependent repairs • Various other jobs required in the operation of the ski area Perks of Working Here: Work & Play in the Mountains: • Embrace the stunning Wasatch Mountains. • Connect with fellow mountain enthusiasts.
