As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. What You'll Do: Control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with site-specific procedures and directions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report security-related concerns. Document all access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies. Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment appropriate for logistics and distribution operations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
