Maintenance Technician (Handyman) We’re seeking a field-based Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to support our offices across multiple locations. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and operating efficiently. You’ll handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks — from fixing minor plumbing issues to touching up paint — keeping every Diamond Braces location in excellent condition. Essential Functions: • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across multiple Diamond Braces offices (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.) • Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues promptly to minimize downtime • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns • Assemble, install, or relocate furniture, fixtures, and small equipment • Coordinate and oversee outside vendors or contractors for specialized repairs • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, materials used, and completed work • Ensure all work complies with safety, building, and health regulations • Travel daily to various Diamond Braces locations as assigned. Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facilities support • Strong working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry • Ability to safely use hand and power tools • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Flexibility to travel between multiple locations within the region • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently • Background in healthcare, dental, or multi-site facilities maintenance preferred • Basic HVAC or appliance repair knowledge a plus • Experience with work order tracking or maintenance scheduling systems • Must be proficient in English (Spanish & Russian a plus). • Proficient in standard office software & applications. • Strong computer and digital literacy skills. • Strong communication skills a must.
