A leading, privately held credit investment platform is seeking an experienced ABL Portfolio & Relationship Manager to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned ABL professional who thrives in a dynamic, execution-focused environment and enjoys owning both portfolio oversight and borrower relationship management. Key Responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day management of a portfolio of ABL credit facilities across diverse industries. • Maintain direct borrower relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing needs, amendments, reporting, and covenant compliance. • Conduct continuous credit monitoring, including borrowing base analysis, collateral trends, financial performance, and early-warning indicators. • Partner with underwriting and originations teams on new transactions, renewals, and restructurings; assist in credit memos, diligence review, and risk assessment. • Oversee portfolio reporting, internal credit presentations, and risk ratings. • Work closely with operations, legal, and servicing teams to ensure accurate reporting, collateral controls, and timely issue resolution. • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships, expand wallet share, and enhance portfolio quality. Qualifications: • 6+ years of ABL experience in portfolio management, field exam/monitoring, underwriting, or relationship management. • Strong understanding of borrowing base structures, collateral analysis, financial reporting, and ABL documentation. • Proven ability to manage complex borrower situations and maintain high-quality credit relationships. • Solid underwriting fundamentals and comfort evaluating credit risk. • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
