Job Title: Material Handler Job Description The Warehouse Material Handler I is responsible for various tasks in a warehouse setting. Key duties include the handling of incoming shipments, unloading and storing received items, verifying and recording part quantities on packing slips, and ensuring the accuracy of received shipment documents. This role involves physical labor, including lifting packages and materials weighing between 50-100 pounds, and operating a forklift to move heavy shipments. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Overtime work may be necessary based on business needs. You will experience varying temperatures from very cool to very warm. The job involves standing and walking throughout the warehouse for extended periods, with repetitive motions including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting. Understanding and adhering to warehouse safety protocols is essential. Schedule is 6:00am-2:30pm + mandatory overtime until 4:30pm each day Will be working Saturdays in December-lots of overtime Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
