Job Description We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in an industrial plant or manufacturing environment. Shift: Monthly Rotation – 3 Shifts Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays • 1st Shift:6:00 AM – 2:30 PM • 2nd Shift:10:00 AM – 6:30 PM • 3rd Shift:10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Pay Rate:$25–$27/hour Overtime:High potential for OT Responsibilities • Receive work instructions, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to perform scheduled, emergency, routine repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance. • Interpret drawings/sketches to determine best work procedures and tools needed for troubleshooting and repairing problems. • Repair, rebuild, and test electrical components to ensure equipment is back up and running efficiently. • Troubleshoot electrical systems using ladder logic, electrical prints, and/or schematics, with knowledge of 3-phase electricity. • Work with AC/DC motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the ongoing functioning of required tools and equipment. • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure their availability in safe operating condition. • Understand and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic press systems and programmable controls. • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting and repair purposes. Essential Skills • Five years of experience in an industrial plant or manufacturing environment. • Ability to use computer-based software to complete job tasks. • Experience in troubleshooting and modifying PLC-based equipment. • Proficient in print reading, drawing interpretation, and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics. • Proper use of tools and measuring devices with a focus on safety. Additional Skills & Qualifications • High school diploma. • 3-5 years of experience working as an industrial electrician in heavy industrial facilities. • Experience using multi-meters and working with 3-phase motors. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOBILE, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
