Job Title: Civil Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our team in Rochester Hills, Michigan. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Land Development and will involve heavy client-facing responsibilities, site visits, support for permit applications, construction assistance, and evaluation of land use and zoning requirements. The role involves overseeing drawings and design work for various private, commercial, and K-12 projects throughout Southeast Michigan, with a strong focus on land development. You will work closely with the design team and clients, performing project management activities daily. Responsibilities • Conduct client-facing interactions and maintain strong relationships. • Perform site visits to evaluate project needs. • Support permit application processes and assist in construction activities. • Evaluate land use and zoning requirements to ensure compliance. • Oversee drawings and design work for diverse projects, including private, commercial, and K-12 initiatives. • Focus heavily on land development aspects of projects. • Collaborate daily with the design team and clients. • Perform comprehensive project management activities. Essential Skills • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Civil Land Development projects. • Project Management skills, ideally with 3 or more years of experience. • Proficiency in Civil 3D software. • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months. Additional Skills & Qualifications • 10 or more years of experience in the field. • Experience with K-12 projects is a plus. Work Environment Our work environment offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. During the first month, you will be required to be in the office for the majority of the week for training purposes. We foster a collaborative and team-focused atmosphere with a fun work culture. Our standard workweek is Monday through Friday, consisting of 40-45 hours. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester Hills, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
