Job Summary Accorria is seeking a Customer Discovery & User Research Representative to engage directly with potential users, car sellers, small dealerships, and buyer communities to understand their real pain points and validate our product direction. This role is critical for helping Accorria shape a product that solves real problems. You will conduct outreach calls, gather feedback, run structured interviews, and summarize insights that guide product, design, and engineering decisions. If you’re people-focused, confident on the phone, and excellent at uncovering customer pain points, this role puts you at the front line of shaping a high-growth Detroit startup. Responsibilities • Conduct outbound calls to car sellers, small dealerships, and marketplace users • Run structured interviews to identify pain points around listing, selling, messaging, and trust • Document customer feedback and insights in our internal system • Explain the Accorria platform clearly and professionally • Gather product validation data for features, pricing, and onboarding • Identify patterns that help reduce churn and increase retention • Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate customer needs into actions • Provide weekly reports on insights, objections, trends, and opportunities • Help test new features with early customers • Represent Accorria as the friendly “first touch” they interact with Qualifications • Strong communication and phone interaction skills • Experience in customer support, sales calls, or user research preferred • Ability to document conversations clearly and professionally • Comfortable talking to dealerships, private sellers, and general marketplace users • Ability to follow scripts while still holding a natural conversation • Self-motivated and organized • Ability to work remotely and independently • Interest in tech, startups, or marketplace platforms is a plus Preferred Skills • Experience with HubSpot, CRM tools, or Notion (bonus) • Experience with customer discovery or product research (bonus) • Background in automotive, sales, or small business support (bonus) • Strong writing and reporting skills Why Work With Us • Help shape a new trust-layer technology transforming online selling • Work directly with the founder and core product team • Flexible hours and remote work • Be part of an early Detroit-based tech startup with big growth plans • Your voice and insights directly influence product features Compensation • $20 – $26/hour, depending on experience • Flexible contract hours Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: Remote
