US SAP Contract Recruiter / Business Development Lead Location: UK (remote / hybrid, US hours) or US-based Package: Competitive base + uncapped commission + long-term incentives The Role Our client has an established US legal entity and a growing portfolio of SAP contract work across the United States, but no dedicated person leading that market yet. They are now seeking an experienced SAP contract recruiter to take ownership of the US desk, with a clear brief to build and grow a high-margin contract book and, over time, a team. Depending on your location, this could be: • A UK-based SAP recruiter working predominantly US East Coast hours, with the option to relocate to the US in the medium term, or • A US-based SAP contract recruiter ready to build the US practice with the backing of a successful European SAP specialist. Key Responsibilities • Own and drive the US SAP contract market for the business • Develop a clear go-to-market plan focused on priority states / regions (initially East Coast) • Win new clients and projects, leveraging existing brand references • Manage the full contract lifecycle – from requirement intake to on-boarding and extension • Build deep relationships with US SAP contractors and clients • Work closely with leadership on headcount and team growth in the US • Contribute to overall US strategy and market positioning Ideal Experience • Proven experience as a SAP contract recruiter, ideally with US market exposure • Strong knowledge of SAP roles (functional, technical, S/4HANA, ECC) and typical clients (end users, integrators, partners) • Track record of building and growing a profitable contract book • Comfortable working US hours (if UK-based) Skills & Attributes • Entrepreneurial mindset – you want to build something, not just inherit a desk • Strong BD capability and confidence opening doors at new logos • Excellent relationship builder with both contractors and hiring managers • Ambitious, self-driven and comfortable with accountability and high expectations What’s on offer • Competitive base salary (negotiable depending on experience and existing book) • Uncapped commission linked to US contract GP • Long-term incentive / equity-style package aligned to US growth • Opportunity to create and lead a flagship US practice • Support from an experienced leadership team and established SAP brand
